Though the shoe size charts can help you find the perfect match for kids, the importance of measuring your kids’ feet is still irrefutable. Measuring the size of your kids’ feet is essential to grab the perfect size of the shoe. It can be done in the comfort of your home with simple things available. The things you will need include; a ruler, a piece of paper, and a pencil.

Make your kid stand on the piece of paper. Trace their foot with the help of a paper or pen, and measure the length between their heel and toe. Ask for help if you think you need it. When you measure the foot, you need to make sure their foot is flat, and their toes are not curled.

In the next step, remove the document and create a line right behind your heel to the front of the longest foot. Add around 1/4 inch to this “pitch” scale.
